Many Long
A poem submission by Rawr Writes
Sentimental sunflowers transform magical moments, Sitting soundly on an afternoon weathered, checkered polyester picnic blanket. Wondering for the serene moments, honey sun on my skin, Bitter lemonade going down, in 10 short years, disguised in many long.
Reunion’s called, passing of night in her eyes, waiting lied in risking it all. Tuesday’s mashed potatoes consistent with weak past’s, Pain lying, detrimental abnormalities quietly e x i s t i n g.
Uniquely flushed strawberry blushed cheeks on a winters afternoon, Edere moments, weekly wacky picnics, futurely became their enemy. Clogged her back window, nightly far and few, dog rumbling beside her, Tomorrow, a day faced in rue, lemonade no longer favorited, June laced french summers start to sound quite nice.
inspired by the intricacies of tiny moments, otherwise thought important
