When The Sun Goes Down
A poem submission by Stephanie Gunnz
When the sun goes down
When the sun goes down
When the sun goes down
Let me see the sunset for the last time
I’m bird of feather, I’m bird of prey
On the prowl of happiness when sky is grey
Grey’s turning orange on heavenly firmament
Wish I could hold this beauty in my hands
Can you feel the bliss it’s giving?
This must be where Ancient gods are living
Let me fly in the cotton candy sky
Point me up and let me die Let me dive into the pink sea
Pale pastel violet fantasy
Violets and roses in the sky
Are the last thing I see before I die
Sky is getting darker and darker blue
Life is beautiful, that’s true
Wing of night descents on town
Cloud of Eden is going down
But when the sun goes down
When the sun goes down
When the sun goes down
Let me see the sunset for the last time
inspired by sunsets
